Gary, can you ping the AS/400 from the "run" line in Windows on your PC?
Until you can do that, you'll never connect. The problem i always have is
getting the right IP address for the AS/400, but then it should work
great.

IBM does it again. They think nobody works on a Saturday. I can't
access the manuals over the internet Their servers must be down. Is
Microsoft running the show there?

I'm trying to figure out how to configure Client Access Express to
connect to an AS/400 signon screen over the internet. The 400 side is
connected to the internet and I know the domain name. I'm trying to
figure out how to configure the remote PC. The remote PC is connected
to the internet and it has CA Express loaded. I have been looking
through the Midrange Archives for hours and I am totally surprised I
can't find anyone else that has answered this question before. I sure
would appreciate it if someone could let me know without pointing me
to the books since they aren't available to me right now.

Thank you very much,

Gary Kuznitz
