  • Subject: Changing Authorities on IFS Objects
  • From: KirkG@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have a client that needs to grant or revoke authority to a large number
if IFS folders, subfolders and objects.

Ex: Folder1
        objecta
        objectb
        Folder2
                objectc
                objectd
                Folder3
                        objecte
                        objectf

I can do CHGAUT OBJ('/folder1/*') USER(JOE) DTAAUT(*RWX) OBJAUT(*ALL)

but all it changes is objecta and objectb. I need to do the whole tree,
Folder1 down thru objectf. Is there a tool or way to do this?
