While further investigating our problems with ping, we were looking at the AS/400 TCP configuration and noticed a couple of entries for IP address 224.0.0.2 - didn't think much more about it (just assumed they some funny internal address used by WebSphere or something) but then the firewall just reported an IP spoofing attempt that was aimed at port 10 at the 224.0.0.2 address. Does any of this ring any bells with anyone? We are running OS/400 V4R4 with WebSphere and Domino as well as our regular AS/400 stuff. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
