I've used the program from the Redbook 'Cool Title about the 400 and the Internet', with some modifications and am quite pleased with that. I wish I could point you to a list of exactly what 421 means and that, but alas, time calls. May I suggest that you run the program in debug? It can be done with a combination of WRKACTJOB to find the ftp jobs STRSRVJOB to debug the non 5250 jobs STRDBG to actually do the debug. Peace, Rob Berendt ================== Remember the Cole! After creating the program, FTPRQSEXIT, and registering it against exit point QIBM_QTMF_SERVER_REQ, I get an error '421 Connection refused' whenever I attempt to connect to the server using an FTP client. It never gets as far as the user login. Any suggestions? _________________________ Lorne Sturgeoff Allied International Credit Corp. 11 Allstate Pkwy, Suite 500 Markham ON Canada L3R 9T8 Phone: 905 513 3517 Fax: 905 470 8155 Email: lgs@aiccorp.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
