What version of the Mac os are you running?  Are you just using the normal MACTCP?

        I am clue less so if someone can send me a message off-line I would appreaiate it.  I have a MAC on an Ethernet and need to place an entry into the Windows Equivalant of a hosts file.. 
 
        a.) Is there such a thing ???
 
        b.) Where does one find it ??
