Re: degree requirement / employment / careers

This is an interesting comment, that leaving for an opportunity is better
than leaving a bad situation. I work as a consultant, so generally spend 3
to 6 months on any one project. Although I do have repeat clients, I also
work in a wide variety of companies (mostly in the same industry, though),
and I am astounded at how different they all are. 

At one client, the staff are so-o-o-o friendly and helpful "Debbie, we're
planning the Christmas party, which days will you be here?". And yet, some
others are cold "Don't talk to her, she's costing us bucks" and difficult
"My boss hired you, I don't really want you here". There are also some truly
horrible jobs out there, and escaping from one can save your sanity.
