This is also the way that my ODBC is configured, except you did mean "65535"
instead of "655235" right?

Jerry,

Take a look at your ODBC settings.  We have had the most success by
un-checking the "Enable extended (dynamic) package support" box on the
Packages tab and selecting "Translate CCSID 655235" on the Translation tab.
