You can do it without third-party products using OLE DB from a Windows
client app and you can also kludge together facilities using FTP and BCP.
But any homegrown solution will be kludgy at best and will cost you more in
time than you'd spend buying a good tool. Check out  www.universal.com. They
have a rationally-priced product called Data Distributor that does a great
job (Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Universal and I don't care
if you buy their stuff or not!)
