In the DNS table you need an entry for domain.com. If memory serves me correctly, it needs to be after all the host.domain.com's. Such as: computer1.domain.com computer2.domain.com domain.com So if it doesn't find the specific machine it will default to one. This is in the MX and A records. You can have 2 DNS's for the same machine, so you can have computer1.domain.com and domain.com point to the same IP address.
