I think were back to the thin skinned argument.

The question "What if IT is True" is a philosophical one and not a
religious one.  

The idea is that if something may be true and it will cost you very
little to adhere to it then why not adhere to it especially if the
negatives far outweigh the costs.

This theory can be applied in (actually should be) in your computer
department.

Why backup to tape - we have raid !

Why do we send backups off site instead of just in a fireproof safe ?  

Why keep multiple backups of the same libraries.  How often do we need
to go back to one of these ? and then how often does a tape fail?

Pascal was a philosopher not a Prophet.  Leave religion out of it.  And
everybody please try to actually listen to others before turning them
off because there are a few KEYWORDS in their message that you don't
like.
