  • Subject: RE: passsing parameters to query/400

If you are interested in learning query management forms and converting the
queries to qmqrys, you can put things in the header and footer that you
can't with Query400. Converting the queries to qmqrys is easy. Dealing
with qmforms is highly unpleasant.

Another option, which won't do anything for the header and footer, is to
stick with Query400 and use a control file for the parameters.

Another option, which will give you control over header and footer, is to
use query output to a file or opnqryf and print the report with an RPG
program.
