Oh how I WISH I had a time machine. I would have used it in 1993 to move forward to today and return with the email, below. I would have shown it to all the people that were screaming for an _Open System_... <including me> Peace, -- Don -----Original Message----- From: Kerwin Crawford [mailto:crawfork@toastmaster.com] Sent: January 07, 2000 2:45 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: PC Crash when running CA/400 We have been experiencing a problem with some PC's that are running CA/400 (latest Service Pack) rebooting. The screen will change to what looks like the tool bar extremely large (takes full screen to display) then in less than a second it will start the reboot of the PC. We have had it happen to people running only CA at the time of the reboot and to people that were running a full array of things. No good clues at this time but thought some of you might have had the same and know of a fix. My personal solution is to get the beloved "Dumb Terminals" back (ooh the good old days, no PC's to worry about). TIA Kerwin S. Crawford Toastmaster Inc.
