I think this was discussed before, but starting Jan 1 we are limited to 50
meg of e-mail. Did some drastic cleanup on Friday, so of course I need it
today.

We have two AS/400s, an S20 development box and an S30 for production. We
run a VB app connected to the 400 using ODBC with hundreds of SQL stored
procedures.

Both boxes on V4R3, but the S20 has a more current CUM applied. We were
receiving intermittent 'Cursor not found' errors on the development box, but
not in production. IBM sent us a PTF, which we applied. At this point the
cursor errors started to occur much MORE frequently! Another PTF was sent -
did not mention the original ptf in any manner (not a pre or co req). This
fix did not resolve the cursor errors, and it permanently applied the first
ptf!

Has anybody else been fighting this battle? I can supply the CUM, ptf
numbers, etc if needed.

Any help would make my day.

Thanks, JN
