Title: Reference a Windows network drive from the AS/400

I would like some way to write an ASCII fixed length "PC" file directly to an NT network drive from an unattended AS/400 batch job.

Perhaps the solution is to write directly to the IFS, then use AS/400 NetServer to serve that directory up to the Windows network.

But I was wondering if it is possible to reference a Windows network drive (using UNC) directly from the AS/400.   I know you can reference the AS/400 from the PC network using a variety of methods - that is not the question.    I would also rather stay away from the IPCS (or whatever it is called this week).

Thanks,
