  • Subject: CA controllers in RCYCNL or RCYPND after user disconnects

Since crossing over in year 2000, we have been experiencing Client Access controller descriptions going into recovery after a user closes down their sessions and powers off their workstation and the end of the day.  The following day the user receives the following message when trying to establish a connection to the AS/400 system:

"CWBSY1000 - Communication error while validating security information on system XXXXXX"

This problems doesn't affect everyone, probably 10% of our users on any given day.  We are OS/400 4.1, primarily using CA for Windows 95/NT, 3.2, service lvl SF5330. The controller descriptions have the parameter SWTDSC set to *NO.

Anyone else experiencing this ?   Any idea as to what may be causing this to occur ?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.
