It could cause a problem if you clear the library because if you are creating a
new object then the old object gets saved in QRPLOBJ. That library gets
cleared
when you do an IPL. I suppose you could probably clear the system at night if
you wanted it to. There are other options that you could look at if you wanted
to clear some disk space. Look at the database files, you might be able to
do a
purge on some of them, some old test libraries, developers libraries you might
want to look at. Are you journaling and do you need the journals? There are
alot of other things that you can look at if you want to.

Subject: QRPLOBJ

Hi everybody ,

Can any one give me information about the QRPLOBJ library, what is the
significance of this library in the OS/400 V4R4.

Am clearing this library very frequently from QSECOFR profile, when ever I
get the message from the users regarding the insufficient disk space. Is it
just for having the secondary object of all the users when ever they are
compiling/creating the objects?

I want to know will there be any problem, if I run a schedule job twice in a
day clearing the contents of this library..

Ravi
