I'm using netsoft and the users that need the printer are in another building (not the same one as the AS400 or the network they are connected to). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deb -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Pat Barber Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 1999 7:36 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: twinax to PC Turner, Deb wrote: > > Is there some sort of hardware/cables/software to allow a twinax printer to > be connected to a PC that is on a network? The pc has access to the printer, as long as they are on the same network...(AND) depending on your connection to the 400... As an example, are you using CA/400 ?? or another emulation product ??? Tell us a "little" more about your setup and I'm sure somebody will have the correct way for you to use a printer.. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
