Chris,
You'll have to concatenate the 5 variables into one variable and then send
your program message. Your concatenated variable should be In this order PGM,
USER, JOB#, DATE and TIME.

PGM
             DCL VAR(&VAR1) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10) VALUE(VAR1)
             DCL VAR(&VAR2) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(10) VALUE(VAR2)
             DCL VAR(&VAR3) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(6) VALUE(VAR3)
             DCL VAR(&VAR4) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(8) VALUE(VAR4)
             DCL VAR(&VAR5) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(8) VALUE(VAR5)
             DCL VAR(&VAR) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(42)

             CHGVAR VAR(&VAR) VALUE(&VAR1 *CAT &VAR2 *CAT &VAR3 +
                          *CAT &VAR4 *CAT &VAR5)
