No.  That's why I also said this:

Sorry if I'm a little sensitive about the performance thing.    
I see so many times people who attend a conference or hear someone
say "The performance is bad when ..........." 

And completely forget the "when.........."   qualifier.
How long did it take us to break people from coding 
one big top down program because it was "Faster"  

People didn't use Date Data types because some "Expert" said
"They're SLOW".   

I use an externally defined data structure for the PSDS (since 1985).
Upon an error,  I pass the whole structure to an "Error Logging" utility
that logs the 
whole thing to a DB file (same file I use to externally define the D/S).
We have a global error logging facility that traps who, when, what, why
for any RPG error(batch & interactive).   

We have never noticed any performance problems.  Nor with all of our
files which all have Data data types.

Your information is valuable to know.   But like you,  I would question 
having a Performance Sensitive program end with LR on.   I would kill 
it someother way.
