That's what I thought.  Which is why I called MultiTech first.  They only 
gave me the two configurations to test.  I should find which pin brings up 
Terminal Ready.  Then without the modem I should see if the 400 is 
bringing up.

Yep.   I made sure of that when I plugged it in.
