Does this show up on DSPSFWRSC? jteff19@idt.net on 12/02/99 01:16:20 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: candersen@solonis.com@Internet, midrange-l@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: Usage limit for Product 5769SS1 feature 5103 has been exceeded I cannot find out exactly what this is. Is this the English language version of the OS? We recently installed V4R4 and just started getting the message: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ Usage limit of 0 exceeded. Grace period will expire in 31 days on 12/31/99. User has been added but the usage limit for the product 5769SS1, license term V4R4M0, feature 5103 has been exceeded. Users have until specified date (31 days) to use this product. When this date is reached, the grace period will expire and all users exceeding the usage limit will be released. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- We called the VAR and they said to call IBM. We call IBM and they won't help us because we bought from a VAR. Is this something the VAR screwed up on? Can this be a Y2K problem since the expiration date just happens to be 12/31/99? I've searched the online books but could find anything specific. Only that feature codes for the OS seem to be language definitions.
