Check out the Client Access API's. Using the windows change password, you
can change your screen saver, windows, NT network, as400 and other passwords
all at once. Don't know about Unix or mainframe. Client Access has api's
to change the AS400 password.

Subject: Changing AS/400 passwords

We have a multivendor shop (UNIX, AS/400, IBM Mainframe, NT) and would like
to develop a VB program that runs on a PC which would connect to all of
these different platforms to change a users password.

We are exploring using TELNET or FTP.

Has anyone done this? How would you connect to the AS/400 to just change a
password? Is there an API that could help?

If so, I'd sure like to exchange some notes....

Kenneth
