If you use Oracle for your DB you will need to hire at least one DBA
(DataBase Administrator) to keep it clean. You would not believe all the
locks. 

DB2 is a part of OS400. OS400 is part of AS400, this is why it is so stable.

You want to pay how much??? What is the yearly charge??

Had heard rumours of Oracle working to make their DB work on an AS400. Are
you telling us that they have a product ready?
