Hi Colin, David, and the gang -

the400group.com is hosted by United Communications Group (ucg.com)
which is their parent company, so complaining to UCG would not get
them shut down, but it might get someone's attention.

UCG's upstream link is Sprintlink Internet Services (www.sprintlink.net),
i.e. Sprintlink owns the IP addresses the UCG uses. Sprintlink's
"acceptable use" policy is at: http://www.sprintbiz.com/ip/policy.html

To quote part of that policy:

< Sprint Internet customers shall not, nor shall they permit or assist others
< to abuse or fraudulently use Sprint Internet Products and Services,
< including but not limited to the following:
< 1. Sending unsolicited e-mail that causes complaints from the
< recipients of such unsolicited e-mail; or,

Complaints should be sent to: abuse@sprint.net

If UCG were faced with the prospect of being cut off from the Internet by
Sprintlink because of the400group's e-mail abuse, that would definitely
get someone's attention!

So those of you getting the spam (I don't), you know what to do!
