What type errors are you looking for?

If you are trying to determine if the communications line is down
take a look at the command RTVCFGSTS.

If you are trying to monitor errors as they happen on remote systems
I beleive you can setup ALERTS on each of the remote systems,
take a look at the system menu(CMDALR-go cmdalr).
