Yes it does explain it as I noted in my earlier message. Problems like this
often arise when code with what is a "benign" error in RPG III (i.e. the
corruption is taking place in an area of memory that doesn't matter - or is
about to have other data moved to it.) is moved to RPG IV because the internal
memory layout is different.

I agree with Hans - it is almost certainly a parameter mis-match problem
somewhere in the calling sequence.
