If you know the files and fields that are getting screwed up, you can go into the target menu Work with Tables option, Work with Target Columns, then Work with Value Translations, and tell it to change all "00" bytes you get to "40" bytes. I haven't played with this function much, but it looks like it should do the trick. --- Dave Shaw, General Nutrition, Greenville, SC To subscribe to the MAPICS-l mailing list send email to MAPICS-L-SUB@midrange.com The opinions expressed may not be my employer's unless I'm sufficiently persuasive... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
