Buying an old AS400 running V2R1 would maybe have some practical single
application somewhere,
but think of it as running PC 286 at 12 MHZ. instead of one at 400 MHZ.  I
have started working on the Risc machines about 6 months ago and am still
amazed how fast they can get the job done.
