Did your directories exist before restoring? If not Restore/create your
directories then re-restore. Good Luck, I hope to be in your shoes by the
end of the century.

Subject: Restoring Directory Entries

I need some help with restoring my directory entries. I am following
the instructions per IBM which state to save QUSRSYS/QAO* from the
current system (V3R7 RISC) then restore them with a OBJ (QAO*) TYPE
(*FILE) MATCH (*ALL) ALLOBJDIF (*ALL) - sorry if that syntax is not
quite on, I can't recall it exactly at the moment! In any case, this I
did on my target system (V4R3) and while it entered the registrations
under Office Vision (however, without the proper descriptions which is
annoying!) it did not enter any of my directory entries so if I do a
WRKDIRE I get nothing. I checked the joblog and everything copied
correctly with the exception of a few QAOSS* files which in the manual
it stated will not copy as they are not compatible across versions.

They said it would work! I really dont' want to type them all in by hand
as you can imagine. (=

Does anyone know what's going on?

Thank you for any suggestions,

Jessica
