The code is not pretty. I did not see any If/End with no code. Throughout all the training, they stress that any changes to the source are a no-no, as you will lose the ability to regen from the lansa process again. They still use an I/O module for I/O. This means that instead of chaining in a process, they call their I/O module. This is done to enforce business rules globally. I cannot say that the I/O module is slow. I've run 100 page reports in batch and interactively and they run quite nicely. These reports would result in approx 20,000 calls to the i/o module. I've recently moved my home office (and home!) and don't currently have a voice phone line and a modem line. However, if you'd like to ask me more questions, call my mobile# 908-482-0085. I'd be glad to answer any questions I can, assuming of course that the bell atlantic installer is not here when you call. Scott P.
