What did Mochasoft say when you contacted them as to why their device name parameter didn't work? Otherwise there are some telnet exit point programs you can use, but, if they claim to have this capability, then I'd hammer them on this first. klauritzen@mail2.texnet.net on 06/02/99 10:07:58 AM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: Device names on telnet session via Mochasoft We are new to TCP/IP and networks. We have as400 720 with V4R3 and TCPIP running. We are using Mochasoft for emulation, all is well except now we want certain users in certain subsystems. We do this now via workstation type...but Mochasoft/TCPIP creates virtual device names so all users go to one sbs. How do we specify a device name for each session. Mochasoft has a parameter for device name but we cannot get it work. It is only used at installation but the only way to get to chg it is after installation.
