Leith, Re: Your point #1. I don't know if you already got an answer to this...... I found that some programs try to get authority to every library in your library list. I found this to be true with IBM's program when you STRTCPSVR (either *DNS or *DHCP - I forget which one) as an example. The work around was to make sure I didn't have any user libraries in my library list. I'm used to running from my own user profile since I have *allobj and this problem doesn't happen if I use QSECOFR since this user profile doesn't have any user libraries. Glenn Gundermann Ronald A.
