Albert, How about taking one of those back burner projects that have been sitting on the schedule for a while and getting permission to code it yourself, on your own time, as you complete some night courses in RPG? Show them you can learn without interfering with the other members and show them you can provide solutions. Join David's RPG list, you'll find help there. Good luck.
