  • Subject: API - how to handle unknown receiver variable size

Dave,

Are you looking for a generalized approach to handle any old *DTAQ
or an approach best suited for a particular type of *DTAQ (here I'm
thinking of keyed vs non-keyed; and if keyed with or without unique key
values). Are you looking for an approach that minimizes development
time or minimizes storage allocation on the system? And last but not least,
what language are you developing in as that may cause some options to be
not applicable/suitable.

I started replying to your request with an overview of the options and
decided after way too many paragraphs that I should ask for a bit more
information on what you are looking for.

Thanks,
Bruce Vining
