I've not done this myself, but I have read on this list that there is a way to
determine the IP address of a device.  It may require that the calling PC issues
a separate request to obtain the address then passes this as a parameter with 
the
RUNRMTCMD.  or the command being run may be able to perform it itself.

What release of OS/400 are you at?  This makes a difference.

Have you checked the midrange.com archives?  I know it's been discussed here
before.

BTW, your english is just fine.  Your should hear some of the people that live
