In a nutshell, yes.  I went to level 40 a year or more ago.  I did
exactly what you're doing (including asking the question here <g>).  I
had no *PGMFAIL showing up in the auditing journal, and I had no
problems when I switched to level 40.  Memory is failing me, but just
make sure that *PGMFAIL is set up in system value QAUDLVL.

Me too.  'Cept the Y2K is done. (Nyaah, nyaah, nyaah nyaah nyaah.)  I
also have a wife and 3 boys, so I am busy most hours of the day.
