The old S/38 manuals were my favorites---mostly because they seemed to give more coding examples and topics were explained better. As much as I love to hate Microsoft for low standards, I really like their manuals. The things you mentioned, e.g., fonts, user types; are pretty darned good. They seem to utilize white space well also. The only bad part is their lack of detail. But that's typical ain't it? They seem to be satified with their software once it reaches the 70/30 mark...the same goes for the content of their manuals. FWIW & hats off for a nice topic, Wynn Osborne Sen P/A in greenscreen land. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
