I would never choose True/False, Yes/No or Multiple Choice questions to judge
the competency of an individual. I would choose questions that require a
discussion type of answer. I can then judge based on how well he understands
the topic. For example. I would not ask, "What are three ways to load a 
subfile?"
Rather, I would ask, "Under what circumstances would you load an entire subfile
versus one page at a time?" Or, "How do you continue adding pages to an existing
subfile and under what circumstances would you use this technique?" The person
would then have to discuss his reasons and techniques. This allows me to see how
well he understands subfiles and also how well he can communicate the answer.
