Im trying to find out if anyone can recomend a better macro-recorder
then windows recorder(From 3.11--we installed it on 95)
On our desktop we have a Netsoft Ellite session open and a custom made
foxpro session open.Im using the old old but great windows recorder to
pull data out from our ICMS database and push it into our foxpro
database.
The windows recorder is just used for mouse highligts and copy then alt
tab then paste--it triggers N/S Ellites own built in Macros via hotspots
that I have set up.N/S Ellites own macros cant use mouse hightlights
and paste data into other apps)
Im not a programmer as you can see but my question is:
1:Has anyone used N/S Toolbox for the new Portfolio-their advertising
says better macros-Sales staff locally cant answer my question.
2:Where would be the best place to start for me to write my first real
program--ie For this task try RPG/400 or better to use Visual Basic?(The
only true programs I have writen are dance tracks using samplers & midi
sequencers)
My personal preferance is to try find an existing app out there or to
to use RPG as it is much cooler than VB.
3:Visual RPG-better than RPG/400 for above task?
cheers Dave
