Sure bud.

First of all let's test your DDM file.  Let's suppose you ran the following 
command:
CRTDDMF FILE(QTEMP/LOCALFILE) RMTFILE(RMTLIB/FARFILE) RMTLOCNAME(THERE)
Now do a DSPPFM QTEMP/LOCALFILE
Do you see data?  You should.  If you see data try the following:
DSPFFD QTEMP/LOCALFILE
Were you able to see all of the fields in the remote file?  You should.
If you've passed all of these tests then let me know the following.
What problems are you having?  What error codes are you receiving?

In reading through the APPC Programmers Guide, I think I saw were DDM is
on of the supported IBM supplied programs (I'm getting a little confused
having spent the last 4 hours going through the on-line library).  I can
create the DDM file but can't seem to get the simple RPG program to
compile.  Help?
