Neil,

I've heard that some ISA boards won't run in newer PCs because they were 
designed for 8Mhz ISA bus. I believe that many newer PCs have accelerated ISA 
bus. There might be a setting for that in the BIOS setup.

No, it's not guaranteed to cause locks/hangs, but it HAS occured at 3 of 
our customers in the last 6 months !
In the one case I looked at personally, I could see no conflict with 
either Memory or IRQ settings.
