Or like at the place I just left - the controller actually thought he could be a
network admin. He made some flippant comment along the lines of 'what's so hard
about it ? I used to do it 7 years ago (or something like that).' Well DUH, 
this is
Novell 4.11 (NDS, etc.) and NT Server and is MILES removed from the Novell 2.? 
days
(not to mention that we had over 600 users on 8 WAN segments...).

He wanted to rush us to NT. We were running NT on some PC's and were planning on
the move, doing cost analysis, hardware and software upgrades and TIME and 
resource
planning , etc He made a comment like 'why don't we just DO it' (from a BEAN
COUNTER !!!) and we tried to explain our concerns. Eventually what it took was 
the
figure on memory upgrades. THAT seemed to break through the fog !!
