Maybe use WRKOBJPDM and set your user defined options, you could set CO = 
Change owner and place this next to all objects (1st one then F13), you get to 
the user options by pressing F16.

Have a look, and let me know if you need more detail.

thousand objects that we need to change ownership of. the problem is that   
we do not have time to do each by hand. can the chgobjown be used in a cl   
to make these changes to the ownerships? is it quick and dirty, or is   
there an even better way to do it?
