I'm feeling better. I finally found the proper tutorial, I finally made a connection between the AS/400 and my PC, I finally dragged and dropped a DDS field description from an AS/400 library to a PC window, and I finally compiled the program and ran it. This is not comparable to screen scrapers. Anyone looking for an impressive front end for their boring AS/400 will be pleased with what they see here, imho. Anyway, that's my two cents.
