Booth,

You're not talking about joblogs are you? If so, you can reduce the joblog
output by changing the LOG parameters on the users Job Description (probably
QDFTJOBD if the parameters changed on an OS upgrade), to something that will
reduce the number of entries to your liking.

Setting it to LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) gives you the maximum amount of logging, setting
it to LOG(0 99 *nolist) gives you no logging. You'll probably want to set it
somewhere in the middle.

BTW, this is just another good reason to avoid using IBM work management objects
for your daily work. If you change them, IBM resets them at the next release
upgrade. Better to set your users to use your own Job Description.... just make
a copy of QDFTJOBD and put it in your own library.

hth, (and I hope I guessed the problem correctly)
