Follow the recommended cleaning schedule in the documentation for the
unit.  I don't have a 3570 so can't tell you the exact cleaning
recommendations.
I would presume the 3570 uses a cleaning cartridge, so once a day is
probably overkill for it - unless you run the thing almost continuously.

For old 1/2" reel drives, where you used cleaning fluid and swabs/cloths
cleaning daily was no problem - in fact you probably had to clean
several times a day, sometimes after each tape, but you could see the
dirt on the heads and could pretty much tell when it needed cleaning.
Not the case these days with the heads hidden away inside the drives.
