I'm looking for a program that I can use to cleanup old files in the IFS file system. I'd like to be able to call this program and pass in two parameters: directory, and date. The program should scan through all the files in the directory and delete (unlink) any which are older than the date parameter. The QDLS file system is nice because the DLTDLO command lets you specify the date. The IFS file system commands DEL/ERASE don't have any such parameter. Does anyone have anything like this? Unfortunately, I don't have a C compiler so my preference would be an ILE RPG program using the IFS API's. I would like this to strictly be an AS/400 solution, (not a PC program) so I can have it run automatically with our nightly Cleanup. Thanks!
