We are tyring the same thing to provide remote firewall. Scenerio: Location 1 has dialup connection to local ISP. Location 2 has persistant connection (static IP) with their local ISP. (Location 2 is long distance from Location 1) . Location 3 is within local phone connection to Location 2. Location 1 connects to local ISP and Telnet's to Location 2 which has ISDN connection to different ISP and secondary dialup to Location 3. Name of game is to forward Telnet session from Location 1 to Location 3 if Location 2 firewall permits. We are (at this time) doing a Linux router process at Location 2 to connect Location 1 to Location 3. WinNT RAS will be our second attempt if our primary choice does not bear fruit within budget. You show me your results, I'll show you mine....fair enough? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
