BPCS stands for Business Process Control System, although some contend "Big Pile of Chicken, uh, Stuff" or "Better Programs Coming Soon". The package is usually better suited to process control manufacturers such as injection molders or pharmaceutical groups, but has "specialty" versions available for the automotive industry and others.
