  • Subject: Premenos and the date data type window.

In working with date data type within Premenos, and thanks to some funky
dates from one of our trading partners, I have learned that Premenos
uses a date conversion window of 1970-2069. Since this is different
from the RPG supported 1940-2039, we had problems. After talking to
Premenos, some of their senior development people stated that IBM is
inconsistent and uses both date range windows. My question is, where is
the 1970-2069 window used?? I would like to avoid this design pothole
in the future BEFORE falling into it!!

Thanks in advance, Bob Dobrowolski
